Mabway's Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA) workshop is part of the Health and safety practice of Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) and aligns with industry standards to reduce accidents in the workplace. DRA benefits a multitude of sectors, but we see significant results in the railway and security sectors giving our customers the skill-set to assess situations when the unexpected happens and how to take control. DRA introduces the principles of risk assessments, why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to them, and the simple processes for carrying them out. This course is suitable for all employees working in any environment who need to be risk-aware.
All of our customers require bespoke training with relevant examples to ensure course learning is credible. We achieve this by understanding the complex situations you may face, and we follow up with a one-day course to teach you and your staff how to conduct Dynamic Risk Assessments instinctively as part of their everyday routine. In doing so, we aim to reduce the number of accidents in the workplace through better personal awareness and raising individual personal responsibility. We engage in discussions on costs, standards, and behavioural-based safety. We share advice on how to deal with the barriers people face and explore the fundamental elements of personal leadership within human and organisational safety.
We encourage the groups attending our one day workshop (where possible) to include a mixture of employment roles. Our experience shows an inclusive approach to learning can enhance company practices.
