Our Maritime Team are experienced in the operation and maintenance of Gas Turbine, Diesels, Integrated Electric propulsion systems, Steam plants, HV and LV Power and Distribution systems (both AC and DC), associated ancillary equipment and all auxiliary systems and equipment.
Training delivery in both electrical and mechanical disciplines includes marine propulsion and power systems equipment operation and the delivery of practical maintenance training. In support of these disciplines a series of courses have been developed which include Electrical Power Management, Integrated Electric Propulsion, Diesel engine theory and practical, Electrical distribution layout and protective devices, Practical electrical fault finding , Diagnostic training, Electrical craft skills, Soldering techniques, and Emergency cable repair. Training delivery also extends to a range courses aimed at improving watch keeping and machinery awareness.
Mabway Academy also offer comprehensive engineering related skills courses covering both industrial and domestic engineering and technical skill sets. Practical electrical fault finding and diagnostic training courses are available supported by a range of electrical craft skills. Our team includes specialists delivering a suite of accredited Domestic Electrical courses aimed at the professional and also those who require enabling skills to take their capabilities further.
Computer based training are designed in house and training design processes can be carried out from course inception to delivery. Mabway also carry out equipment evaluations in order to evaluate the maintenance procedures and establish skills gaps and procedural detail which needs to be incorporated into a practical or computer based training solution
