Electrical Power Generation & Management (II)

This is our advanced electrical P & D course, designed to raise the electrical knowledge of Marine Mechanical Engineers but may also be of benefit to less experienced Electrical Fitters/Engineers.
The course deals with all aspects of Marine Electrical Power systems from the principles of Generation through to the Management and Control of ships’ systems. Special consideration is given to the avoidance of electrical blackouts and how to deal with them if they do occur.
The course includes two half-day sessions in a state-of-the-art engine-room simulator which allows delegates to deal with several realistic on-board scenarios in a safe environment. Using a number of different ship models, machinery breakdown drills can be run without the potentially dire consequences encountered onboard a real vessel.
