Dynamic Risk Assessment Taining Courses
Achilles
Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. We build and support buyer-supplier communities in many industry sectors, creating unique and powerful global networks. Our services for sustainable procurement help create opportunities for business and reduce risk in the supply chain.
Link-up
Link-up is the UK rail industry supplier registration and qualification scheme. Originally established over a decade ago, Link-up has made a significant impact to the rail industry by providing a single common qualification process for suppliers that is shared by Network Rail and over 80 rail organisations.
In highly risky professions, such as fire fighting, the ability to dynamically assess risk throughout an event or task is critical to keeping people alive. Events such as fires are dramatic and keep everyone’s attention on the risks involved.
However, routine operations in hazardous industries, even when carried out by our most competent people, can be performed on ‘auto pilot’ and leave us blind to the real risks involved and the effects of creeping change.
This one day change programme gives the skills and understanding to manage risk dynamically as part of every day routine operations. Delegates are introduced to the human factors that affect our ability to perceive and manage risk and change in a thoughtful and planned manner. Processes are outlined that help plan for and embed dynamic risk assessment throughout a task.
We hope you find the day informative and enjoyable.
